Essentials for Catechetical Ministry
Essentials for Catechetical Ministry is designed to provide information, support, materials, and resources that will be helpful to a new director of religious education, youth ministry or faith formation as their ministry unfolds. All directors who are new or nearly new to ministry, or new to archdiocese, are welcome to join us.
Recognizing that ongoing formation is key to the success of those in lay ministry, the Essentials program provides:
- Orientation to archdiocesan policies, procedures and personnel
- Practical skills for ministry & leadership
- Relationships with those experienced in catechetical ministry
- Reflection on the relevant documents and best practices of the field
- Networking new directors with one another
