STAFF MISSION DAYS
Regional Gatherings | February 2025
2025 is a big year. Globally, the universal Church prepares for a Jubilee Year. Nationally, we continue the Eucharistic Revival with a "Year of Mission". And locally, the Archdiocese welcomes the 12th Archbishop of Milwaukee, Most Reverend Jeffrey S. Grob.
With that in mind, 2025 presents a unique opportunity to reflect on where our parishes are at with our mission to Proclaim Christ and make disciples through the Sacramental life of the Church, in particular how we pursue our mission through sacramental preparation.
Similar to 2024, this year's Staff Mission Days will be an opportunity for us to listen to you, the "boots on the ground." We want to hear more deeply about the joys, challenges, and opportunities in your parish when it comes to Sacramental Preparation. There will also be time to spend dreaming up solutions together, reconnecting with other parish staff, and praying together. Finally, you'll be the first to receive and digest clarified Sacramental Preparation Guidelines from the Archdiocese designed to guide how you prepare families, adults, and children for the sacraments.
These days are for any parish staff responsible for aspects of evangelization and catechesis, especially preparation for the sacraments – clergy, catechetical leaders, pastoral associates, DREs, Directors of Youth Ministry, Directors of Adult Faith Formation, and others who pass on the faith. Please sign up for one of these days below.
